Designer, Leader, Creative Thinker, Homemaker

These are more than just descriptive words to me, they are my reality. A day doesn’t go by where I am not working on something related to the home.  I live it and breath it…simply put:  I can’t help myself!  Some people are born with a destiny and I know that mine is to help people create a home.

A home is different than a house. A home  is a place where  we are at our most intimate moments.  A safe haven, a nest.  It is where we, sometimes, welcome friends, family, and acquaintances  to meet and celebrate.  A home is a place where you feel embraced as soon as you walk through the door.

As an interiors expert I have come to appreciate that not everyone has the ability to create a home so easily.    Some people can recognize the beauty of a home but lack the ability to recreate it themselves.  We cant all be experts at everything.  This is where I enter the scenario.

Classic, casual lifestyle-Interiors created or recreated to embrace you as soon and reflect you. Blending old pieces with new.  Coordinating textiles of different patterns and textures to work in harmony with the space and the people and perhaps pets whom live within it. This is my passion.

This passion led me to Martha Stewart the last semester of my senior year in college.  I met with Martha in NYC and she hired me to start a week after my graduation.  I was the 28th person hired and when I left, after helping to create a major household brand and bring it public, there were over 750 employees.  Those several years were instrumental building blocks of business development and design bundled in one.

I took this experience and spread my wings to South Florida where I began working with clients from all over the U.S.- from Garnet Hill to Pottery Barn- helping and leading teams to create and enhance their own brands.  I also worked with individuals on residential projects and businesses in hotel and restaurant industries to help make their spaces more appealing. My broad expanse of travel has helped to infuse a broad outlook on lifestyle.  We are not all created equally and we don’t all live the same way.  There are many choices out there –and I’m here to help.
